How do I get into a team?

Over  the last 10 years we have created an Academy programme for children as young as 3 to join our Club. This is the best route into one of our 30 plus teams. At our open trials in held each May over 70% of all new players selected by the team managers came through our Academy Development programme.  See Home page for details.  Coaching staff at the Academy are all current team managers.

Can I just turn up and train with a team?

No. All players who train or play for the Club must be registered to the Club to comply with our Insurance. We take this matter very seriously.

On what day do the teams play?

Boys

The Harrow and Watford League Teams usually play on a Sunday morning and each team will have home and away fixtures. Home games will be played at Chase Lodge, Page Street, NW7 2ED The Regents Park League play on Saturdays and all games take place at Regents Park.

Girls

The Capital Girls league and the Hertfordshire Girls League play on a Saturday (typically morning). The U9 and U10 Capital Girls play all their games at Chase Lodge whilst the rest of the teams will play their home games at Chase Lodge.

Ladies

Our ladies teams play in the Greater London Women’s League and play on a Sunday afternoon.

What days do the teams train on?

Our teams train over different nights of the week at three different venues:

Three Acres Community Centre, 29-31 Parkhill Road, London NW3 2YH

Talacre Sports Centre, Dalby St, London NW5 3AF

Whitefield School, Claremont Rd, London NW2 1TR

Training normally takes place between 6pm and 9pm.

Most teams move their training sessions to Chase Lodge playing Fields Mill Hill NW7 2ED after Easter and through to the end of June.

What do I receive in the way of kit and is there a charge?

All players receive a match kit (shirt, shorts and socks). We do not accept players in kit other than official HFC kit for training or matches. Training kit is available to purchase for £30 and any additional/replacement kit is available to buy.

All new and existing players must purchase and train in Hampstead FC kit. Match kit is expected to last for at least 2 seasons. Any replacements needed during this time will be available at an additional cost.

Please see Hampstead FC e-shop – coming soon for further details.

How much are the fees and when are they due?

The annual fees for 2017/18 are £330 for one team and an additional £60 if playing in 2 teams. This is for NEW players to the club and includes the match kit. The fee for existing players transitioning to the 2017/18 season is £300 and an £60 if playing in a 2nd team. There is a sibling discount of £30 per sibling.

We believe this offers very good value for everything that is provided throughout the season and below is a list of what is covered by the membership fee.

  • Regular weekend matches
  • FA registered coaches and equipment
  • Match kit* ( for new players only)
